Threadloom Newsletter uses machine learning to identify top threads from your forum for each newsletter issue. You can review these threads and add your own selections, or just send out what Threadloom chooses. This article goes over the basics of what goes into your newsletter and how each newsletter issue gets generated.

What's in your newsletter?
Here are the main elements that make up your newsletter:
In your Newsletter settings, you'll configure your:
- Banner image
- Intro & outro text or HTML
- Sender information
- Content sources
Once these defaults are set, Threadloom is ready to begin generating your newsletter issues.
Generating your newsletter
For each Newsletter issue, Threadloom will identify top threads on your forum since your last issue. You'll have the opportunity to score these threads for inclusion or exclusion in your issue, or add your own. During this time you can also edit your subject line, override your default intro and outro, and edit the thread titles and post snippets. Or, you can just let Threadloom send out the top 10 threads without doing anything!
The process of generating your Newsletter is managed by the schedule that you configure when you setup Newsletter. To learn more about your Newsletter schedule, scoring, and review click here.
