When syncing forum content to your Threadloom search index, Threadloom enforces a couple of size limits:
- Individual posts are truncated to 500KB. For posts larger than 500KB, Threadloom will save the first 500KB to your Threadloom search index, but nothing beyond this. The sum total size Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet and Macbeth is less than 500KB, so we think this is pretty reasonable.
- When Threadloom syncs your forum content into your Threadloom search index, your content is synced in "chunks" of 100 rows at a time. Chunks in excess of 32MB are not synced. If a chunk is too large, none of the information in the chunk will sync. Normal forum posts are highly unlikely to cause this limit to trigger. However, if a forum has sequential posts of large blocks of data pasted as the post text, the limit may trigger and Threadloom will not index the chunk containing these posts.
